Hut Booking Site

This site lists most of the climbing huts owned by Clubs and Charitable Trusts in England, Wales and Scotland.

If you log in as a club member, the home page shows you which huts you can book.

Some huts only take group bookings, whereas others take individual bookings (with guests).

• some huts only accept booking from kindred clubs (i.e. those with which they have organised reciprocal rights)
• other huts accept bookings from anyone who is a member (directly or through club membership) of the British Mountaineering Council or Mountaineering Scotland
• a few huts accept booking from other parties

For participating clubs (ie. those that accept bookings through this site):

• the hut calendar should show live availability
• club members can book their own club huts on whatever payment and cancellation terms their club chooses
• other bookings require online card payment and acceptance of booking conditions, including cancellation / amendment terms and details of how to get access to hut (key, code, etc).

For other huts:

• there is either an enquiry form (which is sent to the relevant hut booking secretary / hut guardian) or a link to hut / club website where details of how to book can be found.
• the hut guardian can if they wish maintain a hut availability calendar. This is not updated in real-time so is indicative only (and may be out of date)

Card payment simplifies the administration, which is typically done by volunteers.

Members booking their own huts can choose to pay by card both at any time including after the stay is complete.
